Hock Tafelwein |
 |
The name Hock originates from the vineyard areas around the village „Hochheim“. Due to the difficulty to pronounce the word Hochheim, the short form „Hoch“ or „Hock“ was established already in the last century. Today Hock indicates Tafelwines of superior quality which are grown mainly in the Rhein, Pfalz and Nahe area. In order to keep the quality and taste on a continious high level, only special selected grapes can be used for this wine. Ideal for light salads or simply on its own.
